There's a good chance that you have mixed feelings about blogging for money it's common for some people to think it might be evil, lame or obnoxious, or anything that falls into those categories then don't commercialise it.
But if the idea sits OK with you then go for it, or if you think otherwise and you consider it evil, that's fine too.
You must be absolutely 100% sure in your mind before you begin, because making money in this way is difficult enough without self-sabotage kicking in and making your attempt somewhat half-hearted.
You ought to feel great about generating income this way, there's not much wrong about being eager to succeed.
If you honestly think that your blog has real value then earning income from it should be no more than you deserve.
You can't be timid about the whole thing though, if you put ads on there, really put those ads in there it has to be the same if you're putting in requests for donations, do not be shy.
There are always some who will complain when you commercialise a free site, they always do.
But can you make a decent living online? Absolutely. It will take longer if you have a day job but the possibility is there.
