Online scammers are getting more clever, you maybe a person who is very level headed and does not fall for money making scams, but unfortunately we are all victims at some point.
What is a scam?
A scam is something that is set up to defraud you. It can be to get your personal information or it can be to sell you something that is not as described.

The most one people will fall for is, get rich quick scams. These are tough ones, many cannot be classed as scams because, the webmasters are very careful how they describe the money making opportunity. The only problem with many get rich quick schemes is, the only person getting rich quick is in fact the person who created it, the webmaster.
The only way to avoid get rich quick scams is to always remember "if something seems to good to be true, it is"
I am not saying that all make money online opportunities are scams, far from it.
How do I know if a money making opportunity is legit?
Use Google search and forums to check out if anyone has reviewed them.
It is only my opinion, but I believe the way to make money online is to find a niche and make it your own. Create a way of doing something that is better than your competitor. Nothing wrong with getting involved with an opportunity that already exists. Use free resources sites that help you to earn money for free and give impartial advice.
